Psykolog Esbjergonline sessions for leaders

Esbjerg · online · fixed evening slot

The calendar keeps shifting. The conversation can stay put.

This site describes online sessions with the psychologist Frank for leaders and specialists in the Esbjerg area. The sessions are offered by www.djursland-psykologen.dk. The main site is in Danish.

When work runs in rotations, across time zones or far from home, the usual advice about looking after yourself is hard to use. A fixed appointment with a psychologist in town fails on one point: you are seldom in town. Here the sessions are online, so you can bring the same slot with you.

Sessions in English, online first

The conversations can be held in English, both online and in person in Mørke on Djursland. For most people in Esbjerg, online is the main track: you can sit at home, in a hotel room or anywhere else where you can talk undisturbed. The course is the same either way.

You need a quiet place, a stable connection and the evening kept free in your calendar. If you work across time zones, convert the time well in advance.

What you can bring

  • Pressure in roles where you are responsible for others, even when you are far away
  • Distance from family and friends at home
  • Difficulty winding down when home and work keep trading places
  • Decisions nobody around you can share

The framework

  • Individual sessions at a fixed weekly time in the evening
  • The same psychologist throughout
  • Limited capacity and, typically, a waiting list; no start date is promised
  • Signing up is non-binding, through the main site

Who it suits

Leaders, project managers, founders and specialists whose working pattern does not follow office hours, including people with an international background who are more comfortable in English. You do not need a finished explanation. The sessions can give you room to understand what the pace is doing to you.

Questions and answers

Will my GP or employer be informed?

No. Your doctor is not told, and neither are the municipality, your partner or spouse, or your workplace. The sessions are private and need no referral, and they are covered by the psychologist's duty of confidentiality.

Can my company pay?

Yes. Many people have the invoice paid by their company or employer, and you can pay yourself as well. See the practical information page on the main site.

What happens to my fixed slot when I travel?

The slot is weekly and in the evening, and because the sessions are online you can join from wherever you are, provided you have a quiet place and a stable connection. Think through your next few weeks before you sign up.

How long is the waiting list?

That varies. Capacity is limited and there is typically a waiting list, with no start date promised. Signing up is non-binding.

Need help right now? There is a waiting list, so this is not an emergency service. If your need is acute, contact your GP, the out-of-hours medical service (lægevagten) or call 112.
